Dumbo in Brooklyn. It is one of my favorite places to shoot in the city, always a great view. It was snowing a lot. He made a heart from candles and flowers. He was waiting here for an hour, she was running late for a date. But when he came he asked – will you marry me? She answered – yes. It was snowing a lot. But they were feeling burning up inside like a fever in the blood. Honey love story, is not it?
Everyone has their own love story and Rebecca and Kim Jin love that their one was very unique and different to their everyday “boy meets girl” story.
Kim Jin and Rebecca have met one year ago at the Perth NAIDOC Ball. Kim Jin has tried and said it was love at first sight for him however they were both in different stages in their lives back then and their love story wasn’t meant to begin straight away. It was actually their work place that made them cross paths but it still took them another 3 years for their friendship to escalate in to something more. After some time, their families went through the most tragic time due to the loss of Rebecca`s sister and it was actually during this time that she realised she was truely in love with Kim Jin. He was there for her through it all and never left her side and she will be forever grateful for that as Rebecca told me during our wedding photoshoot. She also owed it to Kim Jin for always were believing they were not only meant to be friends and he really did fight for what he believed was meant to be. I sure that their love story has been an absolute rollercoaster ride but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Rebecca truely believed they were soul mates and as she said she felt so lucky to have Kim Jin in her life. Kim Jin has changed her life for the better as everybody closed for our sole and mindset I think. Good luck!
