Saturday, July 27nd. Andy and Ashton from Houston, Texas.
Central Park is one of my favorite locations for marriage proposals, especially during the summer. Park is so green that you feel as if you somewhere on vacation, but not at the busiest city of the world. So it was the first choice for my couple from Texas.
They came to NY for a weekend getaway, and Andy knew he wants to use this opportunity to pop the question. The couple met 2 years ago on a concert in Austin, Texas and were dating ever since. Andy is a former US Marine, and his girlfriend is an interior designer. We decided to make the proposal by the Bow Bridge as it has a beautiful backdrop and it is a very peaceful part of the park. He really wanted to have a musician, so we had a guitarist playing ” Your Song’ by Elton John. It was Saturday morning, and Andy told his girlfriend they will have breakfast in a park when they arrived at the spot, the musician started to play a song. He got on one knee and asked his girlfriend to be his wife. Of course, it was “YES”. After that, we did lots of engagement photos in a Central Park, by the Bethesda Terrace and the Mall. Also, there were not so many people in a park as it still was early morning, an excellent time for the photo session.
