It was complicated love story even for me. Though Victor had been dropping hints he wasn’t ready to get married any time soon. Meghan was upset but continued planning a trip to Puerto Rico to celebrate her 30th birthday with Victor. He even told her she shouldn’t expect a ring for a long time. Do you think it sounds a bit rude? Yes, like a very rude joke. Because, Victor planned only to surprise her with a proposal on her birthday while the two were in their hotel room overlooking the rainforest.
He gave her a letter he wrote about how much he needed her in his life and said that whatever he was scared of in the future, he knew he could handle it if Meghan would be by his side. He worried a lot and decided to make this all to check their feelings. Now, he sure she’s the one that he’s supposed to be with.
When they came back to US, Victor offered her to meet in the Bronx`s botanic garden. A jaunt into the botanical gardens in the Bronx sounds like a lovely way to while away a spring day, doesn’t it? He made her an album with their memories and proposed to marriage. This particular outing on May 30 will forever be marked in her memory as the day Victor asked Meghan to be his wife. She ugly cried for a solid two hours, calling everyone she knew— the woman had been working as a wedding photographer at the time as me and just couldn’t believe that she was also going to be the bride finally!
Aren’t they a charming couple? I am glad that Victor picked this point in the spring when the flowers were so vibrant and lush. They added such a nice punch of color against the couple’s neutral tones. Masterpiece in every detail!
