Throwback Thursday! Looking back to our New Years proposals we came across James and Melissa romantic proposal in Central Park.
The couple came from Essex, England and was staying in New York for a week over the New Year Celebrations. It was Melissa’s first time in New York, so James knew that would be a perfect opportunity to propose. The two met 7 months ago on a modeling shoot it Marbella, Spain. “I want to propose in central park, the spot was perfect and extremely happy I picked the location. Beautiful backdrop of the city, the bridge, ice skating and Central Park. I made sure she was dressed in a way she wouldn’t mind having photos and made sure her nails were done lol”, James said. “I felt nervous, which I never feel about anything so was quite nerve racking. The best part is that she had no clue until I pulled the ring out.”
Our photographer Vlad Leto was following the couple all this time making pictures. Melissa was surprised to find out that he was following them all over the park. “Like a real paparazzi!” she exclaimed. After the proposal the newly engaged couple and Vlad Leto went around the Central Park for a session, “ We did lots of photos and went on to the boathouse restaurant for champagne and lunch followed by ice skating in Central Park and up to the Rockefeller observation deck”, James said.
